Last updated October 27, 2026 · Effective October 31, 2026

Scholar is provided by theveteraneducators AI LLC (Nyclogic AI™). By using Scholar you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of a school, you confirm you're authorized to do so.

Accounts

  • Teachers are responsible for their classes and for adding students appropriately.
  • Students join by class code and a device-local nickname, without an account, email, password or birthday. Teachers can issue recovery codes for numbered labels.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Privacy mode and deletion

All classes use privacy-first, code-only student joining. Roster names and optional contacts are encrypted on your device before sync. Your passphrase or Recovery Kit restores the locked roster on another device. Nyclogic AI™ cannot recover names if both are lost. Class and account deletion have a 7-day undo window; deletion remains available regardless of account access. Archived student work is automatically deleted after 12 months unless the teacher disables this setting.

Your content

You own the lessons and materials you create. You grant us a limited license to host and process them to provide the service. AI-generated content should be reviewed by the teacher before use.
